To ensure that your trip is free of additional stress and hurry, we recommend coming to the airport about 2 hours before your flight. Passenger check-in at the airport most often starts 2 hours before the flight and ends 30-40 min before the flight. Some airline companies apply check-in fees at the airport, therefore we recommend finding out this information when buying tickets or later, before arrival to the airport. In such cases, you may check-in free of charge online on the airline’s website. At the airport you may use mobile boarding passes in smart devices that must not be printed out. However, if your mobile device malfunctions or the battery goes dead, ask the company serving the flight to issue a boarding pass.
Self-service kiosks may be used by
passengers of SAS, Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines and Turkish Airlines.

Boarding starts about 30-40 minutes before the flight. Please note that the passenger must be at the boarding gate at the time indicated in the ticket. Punctuality in aviation is of key importance, and if you are late for the flight, you may not be able to board your flight even if the plane has not risen from the ground! Some airline companies do not personally inform passengers who are late of their flight, therefore the passenger himself must carefully follow the information of flight status on the screens.
