Petras Akstinas has joined the Lithuanian Airports team. A specialist in accounting and finance for almost three decades, he will take up the position of Head of the Finance Department of Lithuanian Airports at the end of November.

Prior to joining the Lithuanian Airports team, Mr Akstinas held senior finance management positions in petroleum products trading, aviation maintenance and repair, agriculture and other companies.

"I have worked in various businesses in Lithuania and abroad for a considerable part of my career, and at this stage of my career I would like to contribute to the development of Lithuania's air connectivity and the development of the organization itself. I know that aviation is a dynamic and global field, with many challenges, but at the same time it is very engaging. More broadly, I am ready to organize the efficient operation of the finance function and to optimize the related processes. I also see a lot of potential in digitizing certain functions and processes", comments P.Akstinas, the new Head of Finance of Lithuanian Airports.
