Air Lituanica to increase the number of flights in spring

As of March the airline Air Lituanica starts increasing the frequency of flights on regular routes. After the spring schedule is expanded, 30 percent more seats will be offered to passengers on the flights operated by Air Lituanica.

As of 5 March flights to Berlin will be operated 5 times a week; additional flights will be operated on Wednesdays and Fridays and starting from 17 March – on a daily basis, except Saturdays. Flights are currently available from Vilnius Airport to the capital of Germany four times a week.

As of 13 March the frequency of flights on the Prague route will be increased to 5 times a week. Flights will be operated on business days. Starting from 16 March flights to Munich will also be available on Sundays, meaning that Air Lituanica will offer flights 4 times a week.

As of 14 February flights to one of the largest airports in the world – Paris Charles De Gaulle Airport – will be operated on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, whereas from May the frequency of flights will be increased to 5 times a week; an additional flight on Saturdays will be available.

“By increasing the number of flights, we focus on improving conditions for our passengers travelling for business purposes because in this way more opportunities are created and it gets even easier to plan one's time," Air Lituanica Director of Commerce Simonas Bartkus says.

Simonas Bartkus adds that starting from the last Sunday of March, i.e. the beginning of aviation summer season, the aircrafts of Air Lituanica will take off from Vilnius Airport at least 25 times a week.

Flights will be operated by Air Lituanica aircraft Embraer 175 with 86 seats and a leased 50-seat aircraft CRJ 200. The aircraft is leased from the Danish airline Cimber.
